"Yeah, I guess you could call me that, but I don't think I'm all that different from most other girls in my class. Actually, boys are all me and my girlfriends usually talk about, especially if there's a new guy who transferred to our school over the summer and he's real cute and us girls are all interested in him. I haven't seen them yet, but my friend Leah says there's a couple good-looking new guys coming to our school this year."
Are your school grades suffering because you're always thinking about guys?
"Well, they don't have to suffer much because they already pretty much suck. But you know what? I'm not worried about doing all that good in school, 'cause my friends tell me I'm really cute and that's gonna help me get the things I want in life. I've noticed that, too. Guys treat pretty girls a lot different than they do girls that are Plain Janes"
So, you think if a girl's pretty, she shouldn't hesitate to use her looks?
"Course not! I mean, why should she? You see it on TV and in the movies all the time. I don't have anything against smart girls, and sometimes they're even pretty, too. But I'm not real smart so I'm glad I'm cute, 'cause that means guys will treat me special. So if I end up living in a mansion some day, don't be too surprised!"
